I'm a fledgling blogger. This is my first blog and my first entry therein.
In the future, I'll be posting my experiences publishing my book and maybe some short stories. I'll also be posting some of the adventures of my dogs and cats.
Late in her life, Shelby had another dog come to live in her home. She was a rescued mother of AKC (American Kennel Association) pedigreed pups. She did not answer to her name so I changed her name to Enya. Shelby paid little attention to this 3 year old, Enya, who shivered most of the time. All she knew to do was eat and hide in the corner. The day after Shelby's sudden death, Enya came to me as I lay crying and laid down alongside me, as if to say, "I'm here. Lean on me. I will help you through your grief." Enya is 9 years now and has a serious heart condition. We know our time with her is limited. The same year we got a 1 lb, 2.7 oz white Chihuahua, named Bianca Rose. She is now 5 years and shamefully spoiled!
The beginning is always the most hopeful, yet the reward comes when the blog begins to move with comments from other people, who generate different ideas and directions. I am pleased with the direction the blog is taking.
